The Museum’s mission is to celebrate, investigate and explore all aspects of architecture, landscape architecture, design and urban planning as well as historic and environmental preservation, set within the context of one of America’s first and most successful planned communities – the City of Coral Gables.

Thursday March 6, at 7 PMCoral Gables Museum - immerse yourself in water with an eye-opening look at a substance so essential to life we often take it for granted.  Water is Life -- a month long exhibition at the Coral Gables Museum --will showcase water-inspired visual works by artists from local galleries, and the next generation of artists from the Fine Arts program at the University of Miami.

Thursday March 13, the Coral Gables Museum will host a panel of experts will discuss key water issues, including efforts to restore the Everglades, the impact of climate change on the ocean and what is being done to protect the quality of our water. The exhibition and lecture coincide with the United Nation’s International Water Day on March 22.
